The Association of Sewing & Design Professionals is proud to host the Baltimore Vendor Marketplace featuring businesses serving entrepreneurs in the sewing and design industry. Conference attendees, local small business and sewing enthusiasts are invited to explore the fabrics, products and opportunities provided by our vendors. Mendel Goldberg Fabrics, a fourth-generation family-owned textile boutique, has been in business since 1890 and is located on a quiet side street on the Lower East Side of NYC. Exquisite designer imported fabrics hang in the window display that tempt with a glimpse of the treasures which await inside. A large range of brocades, silk, gabardine, lace, wool, novelty fabrics and boucle´ in a wide variety of colors and textures lines the shops walls from floor to ceiling.
A DittoForm is a custom dress form. It is a life-size model of a real person. Starting with an image captured by a 3d scanner, we create a copy, a ditto, of you. For people who sew their own clothes or make their own costumes, it is a game changer!

Sew Chic Fabrics and Crafts offers live classes that cater to children as well as adults of all skill sets and levels. Available to host team building events, school break camps, summer camps, crafting happy hour, and weekend workshops! Sew Chic offers fun, creative experiences with sewing and other DIY crafts!

FABSCRAP
FABSCRAP is a textile recycling non-profit working to keep textiles out of landfill! We work with companies in the fashion and interiors industries to take their textile waste- from small production scrap to deadstock yardage- and rescue it from landfill by recycling or making available for reuse! FABSCRAP operates in Brooklyn and Philadelphia, offering our recycling service, volunteer opportunities to get involved, and fabric thrift stores to both cities.

ochenille offers a variety of software and design aids for textile and fiber enthusiasts. They are the home of Garment Designer and Stitch Painter software for Windows or Macintosh. Garment Designer is a pattern drafting program that allows you to create patterns for both sewing and knitting. Stitch Painter is a grid-based design tool, specifically geared to the needs of textile and craft designers. This program can be applied to Knitwear design, Beading and Stitchery.
